• Mae'r Loteri Genedlaethol yn gwneud cyfraniad mawr tuag at yr ymdrech genedlaethol drwy ailburo cyllid i frwydro yn erbyn effeithiau Covid-19, gyda llawer eisoes wedi cyhoeddi dros yr wythnosau diwethaf.
• Mae'r Loteri Genedlaethol yn gwneud cyfraniad mawr tuag at yr ymdrech genedlaethol i fynd i'r afael ag effaith Covid-19
• Darperir yr ariannu ar draws sectorau'r celfyddydau, cymunedol ac elusennol, treftadaeth, addysg yr amgylchedd a chwaraeon - bydd yn helpu'r prosiectau yn y Deyrnas Unedig yr effeithir arnynt fwyaf gan y coronafeirws, y maent yn cefnogi rhai o'r bobl fwyaf agored i niwed yn ein cymunedau
• Disgwylir cyhoeddiadau ariannu pellach i daclo effaith y coronafeirws

Mae elusennau a sefydliadau sydd wedi'u heffeithio gan effaith ddigynsail yr alldoriad coronafeirws yn y DU yn cael mynediad i becyn cynhwysfawr o gefnogaeth gwerth hyd at £600 miliwn wedi ei ailbwrpasu gan Y Loteri Genedlaethol.

Diolch i chwaraewyr y Loteri Genedlaethol, bydd miliynau o bunnoedd o arian y Loteri Genedlaethol yn cael eu dosbarthu dros y misoedd nesaf yng Nghymru'n unig i helpu prosiectau yr effeithir arnynt fwyaf gan y coronafeirws, y maent yn cefnogi rhai o'r bobl fwyaf agored i niwed yn ein cymunedau. Mae'r pecyn ariannu cynhwysfawr yn ymestyn ar draws sectorau'r celfyddydau, cymunedol, elusennol, treftadaeth, addysg, yr amgylchedd a chwaraeon.

Mae'r pecynnau ariannu a gyhoeddwyd hyd yma a fydd yn helpu prosiectau yng Nghymru'n cynnwys:

• Hyd at £300 miliwn gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol dros y chwe mis nesaf ar gyfer grwpiau ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig, gan gynnwys rhai o Gymru, sydd yn y sefyllfa orau i gefnogi pobl a chymunedau yn y cyfnod hollbwysig yma.

• Cronfa Argyfwng £50 miliwn gan Gronfa Dreftadaeth y Loteri Genedlaethol ledled y Deyrnas Unedig i ymdrin â phwysau brys yn y sector treftadaeth dros y pedwar mis nesaf a darparu buddsoddiad cynyddol mewn sgiliau digidol hanfodol;

• Ar y cyd gyda Llywodraeth Cymru, mae Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru wedi cyfrannu £5.1 miliwn gan y Loteri Genedlaethol at Gronfa Gwytnwch y Celfyddydau gwerth £7 miliwn ar gyfer Cymru. Bydd y gronfa'n darparu cefnogaeth i unigolion a sefydliadau a ariannwyd ar gyfer y celfyddydau i'w helpu trwy'r argyfwng Coronafeirws;

• Mae Chwaraeon Cymru wedi lansio Cronfa Cydnerthedd Chwaraeon, gyda £4.75 miliwn yn dod o ffynonellau'r Loteri Genedlaethol i ddarparu cefnogaeth ar draws chwaraeon yng Nghymru i sicrhau y gall y genedl barhau'n actif a mwynhau'r holl fanteision iechyd a llesiant a geir trwy chwaraeon; ac mae

• Sefydliad Ffilm Prydain (BFI) wedi darparu gwerth £4.6 miliwn gan y Loteri Genedlaethol ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig i leddfu'r pwysau brys ar fudiadau ac unigolion yn y diwydiannau sgrîn y maent wedi'u bwrw'n waethaf gan y pandemig, gan amrywio o arian brys i'r rhai sy'n gweithio ar eu liwt eu hunain y cafodd eu contractau eu canslo'n sydyn i grantiau ar gyfer lleoliadau sy'n denu cynulleidfaoedd y bu'n rhaid iddynt gau'n annisgwyl.  

Mae'r ffigurau a amlygir heddiw yn ffurfio'r cyfanswm pecyn ariannu a ddadorchuddiwyd hyd yma - disgwylir cyhoeddiadau ariannu pellach yn y dyfodol.

ROLL OUT OF UP TO £600 MILLION NATIONAL LOTTERY FUNDING TO TACKLE CORONAVIRUS IMPACT

• The National Lottery is making a major contribution towards the national effort by repurposing funds to combat the effects of Covid-19, with many already announced over the last few weeks.
• Funding spans the arts, community and charity, heritage, education, environment and sports - it will help projects in the UK most impacted by the coronavirus and will support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities
• Further funding announcements to tackle coronavirus impact expected

Charities and organisations affected by the unprecedented impact of the coronavirus outbreak in the UK are being given access to a comprehensive package of support of up to £600 million of repurposed money from The National Lottery.

Thanks to National Lottery players, millions of pounds of National Lottery funding will be distributed over the next few months in Wales alone to help projects most impacted by coronavirus and which support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. The extensive funding packages span the arts, community, charity, heritage, education, environment and sports sectors.

The funding packages announced to date which will help projects in Wales, includes:

• Up to £300 million from The National Lottery Community Fund over the next six months going UK-wide to groups, including those from Wales, best placed to support people and communities at this vital time.

• A £50 million Emergency Fund from The National Lottery Heritage Fund UK-wide to address immediate pressures in the heritage sector over the next four months and provide increased investment in essential digital skills;

• Together with the Welsh Government, the Arts Council of Wales have been able to put £5.1 million from National Lottery sources into a £7 million Arts Resilience Fund for Wales. The fund will provide support for arts funded individuals and organisations to help them through the Coronavirus crisis;

• Sport Wales have launched a Sport Resilience Fund, with £4.75 million from National Lottery sources to provide support across Welsh sport and ensure the nation is able to remain active and enjoy all the health and wellbeing benefits that sport brings; and

• The British Film Institute (BFI) has made £4.6 million of National Lottery funding available UK-wide to alleviate immediate pressure for organisations and individuals in the screen industries hardest hit by the pandemic, ranging from emergency funding for freelancers whose contracts were suddenly cancelled through to grants for audience facing venues which have unexpectedly had to close.  

The figures highlighted today form the total funding package unveiled to date - further funding announcements are expected in the future.
