Mae’r gronfa hon wedi cael ei
sefydlu i gynorthwyo grwpiau a sefydliadau sy’n addasu gwasanaethau a chymorth
i unigolion a theuluoedd, boed yn unigol neu ar y cyd, wedi’u heffeithio gan
bandemig y coronafeirws.
Yn bennaf, byddwn yn darparu
cymorth ar gyfer y canlynol (Nid yw hon yn rhestr gynhwysfawr):
- gweithgareddau sy’n helpu
pobl sy’n agored i niwed sy’n hunanynysu (yr henoed, pobl â chyflyrau
meddygol sy’n bodoli eisoes ac ati)
- Anghenion parhaus pobl
sy’n agored i niwed i sicrhau bod eu hiechyd a’u lles yn cael eu cynnal
- cymorth i fanciau bwyd a
sefydliadau sy’n gweithio i frwydro yn erbyn caledi a achosir gan y
pandemig, gan gynnwys newyn plant
- cydgysylltu ymateb
cymunedol
- costau gwirfoddolwyr i’r
rhai sy’n ymateb i effeithiau’r pandemig
- costau ychwanegol
gweithio o bell ac addasu gwasanaethau a ddarperir yn y gymuned ehangach
- Cymorth ychwanegol yn ôl
yr angen ar gyfer anghenion emosiynol ac iechyd meddwl a chymorth
profedigaeth
Sylwch mai dim ond am 6 mis y
byddwn yn ystyried cost cyflwyno’r gwasanaeth / cefnogaeth i ddechrau. Byddwch
yn gallu ail-ymgeisio am gyllid pellach os yw’r angen yn dal i fodoli ar ôl
Medi 2020.
Os bydd arian yn caniatáu,
byddwn yn darparu cymorth i:
- atal colli incwm
contractau a chodi arian ar gyfer sefydliadau sy’n rhoi cymorth i grwpiau
sy’n agored i niwed
Sylwch fod ceisiadau sy’n
gwneud cais am grant i lenwi’r gap o incwm rydych wedi’i golli yn cael eu roi
ar restr wrth gefn ar hyn o bryd a byddwn yn eu hail-ystyried ym mis Gorffennaf
pan fydd gennym well syniad o faint o arian sydd gennym i ddosbarthu. Byddwn yn
annhebygol o gynnig cyllid i sefydliadau sydd gyda’g cronfeydd wrth gefn sydd
dros 6 mis o gostau rhedeg y sefydliad
Y grantiau sydd ar gael
- Mae grantiau o rhwng
£500 a £2,000 ar gael i grwpiau sydd ag incwm blynyddol o hyd at £200,000
- Mae grantiau o hyd at
£5,000 ar gael i grwpiau sydd ag incwm blynyddol rhwng £201,000 a
£500,000

Elusennau, grwpiau cymunedol, mentrau cymdeithasol a
cynghorau cymunedol a tref sydd
yn cynnal gweithgareddau i gefnogi’r gymuned drwy effaith pandemig Coronafirus yng Nghymru.
Fyddem ond yn cefnogi grwpiau a sefydliadau a all ddangos tystiolaeth eu bod yn gweithio’n ddiogel ac yn cadw a ganllawiau’r Llywodraeth ynglŷn â’r firws.

Community
Foundation Wales
Wales Coronavirus Resilience Fund
Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend,
Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire,
Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath
Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea,
Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan, and Wrexham
This fund has been established
to assist groups and organisations that are adapting their services and support
to individuals and families, whether singly or collectively, affected by the
Coronavirus pandemic.
Primarily, we will provide
support for the following (this is not an exhaustive list):
- activities that help
vulnerable people who are self-isolating (the elderly, people with
pre-existing medical conditions etc)
- Ongoing needs of
vulnerable people to ensure that their health and wellbeing is maintained
- support for foodbanks and
organisations working to combat hardship caused by the pandemic including
child hunger
- community response
coordination• volunteer costs for those responding to the effects of the
pandemic
- additional costs of
working remotely and adapting services delivered in the wider community
- additional help as
required for emotional and mental health needs and bereavement support
Please note that we will only
consider the cost of delivering the service/support for 6 months initially. You
will be able to re-apply for further funding if the need still exist after
September 2020.
Secondarily, and if funds
allow, we will provide support to:
- counter the loss of
contract income and fundraising for organisations providing support for
vulnerable groups
Please note that applications
applying for a grant to cover loss of income are being placed on a deferred
list at the moment and we will re-consider them in July when we have a better
understanding of how much money we have to distribute. We will be unlikely to
offer funding to organisations who are holding reserves in excess of 6 months
running costs.
What grants are available?
- Grants of between £500
and £2,000 are available for groups with an annual income of up to
£200,000
- Grants of up to £5,000
are available for groups with an annual income of between £201,000 and
£500,000
Who can apply?
Charities, constituted
community groups, social enterprises and community/town councils running
activities to support the community through the impact of the Coronavirus
pandemic in Wales.
Grants will only be made to
groups and organisations that can evidence that they are working safely and
adhering to government guidance regarding the virus.
