Bydd y weminar hon yn helpu mudiadau gwirfoddol yng Nghymru sy’n ystyried ailddechrau eu gwasanaethau. Mae wedi’i hanelu at y rheini nad ydynt yn siŵr o ba gyfarpar diogelu personol (PPE) sydd ei angen na sut i gael gafael arno er mwyn iddynt gael gwell dealltwriaeth o’r prif fesurau rheoli heintiau a’r mathau o PPE.   

Cynnwys

Ymunwch â’r weminar hon i glywed gan Paul Griffiths a Stuart Smith o’r Gwasanaeth Caffael Cenedlaethol (NPS), sy’n arbenigwyr mewn prynu ac yn fwy diweddar mewn PPE. Hefyd, bydd Gail Lusardi a Dr Eleri Davies o Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru yn trafod yr adegau y dylid defnyddio PPE.

Webinar aim

This webinar will help voluntary organisations in Wales that are considering restarting their services.  Aimed for those who are unsure of what Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is needed, how they can source it and gain a better understanding of the key infection and control measures and types of PPE.

Join this webinar to hear from Paul Griffiths and Stuart Smith from the National Procurement Service for Wales (NPS) both expert buyers and more recently so in PPE.  Also, Gail Lusardi and Dr Eleri Davies from Public Health Wales who will discuss the scenarios in which PPE should be used. 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the webinar participants will:

·        Understand the different types of PPE available

·        Learn about the standards that certain items must meet

·        Be aware of the prices they should pay for PPE

·        Gain a better understanding of Public Health Wales guidance and how it applies to your setting/workplace

·        Understand the key infection control measures including the use and types of PPE

About the speakers

Stuart Smith is the People and Corporate Services Lead at the National Procurement for Wales.

Paul Griffiths is the Head of Category Management at the National Procurement for Wales.

Gail Lusardi is a Consultant Nurse at Public Health Wales.

Dr Eleri Davies is a Consultant Medical Microbiologist and Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board/Public Health Wales
