Meic - Llinell Gymorth i blant a phobl ifanc

Mae Meic yn parhau i weithredu yn yr un ffordd gan fod gennym system rhith-ganolfan galw sydd yn golygu bod cynghorwyr yn gallu gweithio o unrhyw le. Golygai hyn nad oedd toriad yn y gwasanaeth o gwbl yn ystod Covid-19 ac mae'r llinell gymorth yn parhau i weithredu i blant a phobl ifanc hyd at 25 oed yng Nghymru i roi gwybodaeth a'u helpu i ddod o hyd i'r help sydd ei angen arnynt. Meic - Helpline for children and young people

Meic continues to operate in the same way due to having a virtual call centre that means advisors can work from anywhere. This meant there was no break in service when the lockdown began and that the helpline continues to operate for children and young people up to 25 years old in Wales, giving information and advising them on how to find the help they need. We have a bank of Covid-19 articles on the website which are added to every week:

We've also been working on transforming our social media and if you visit our Instagram, Facebook or Twitter you'll notice that the content has become more visually attractive to attract children and young people with regular content going out to update them on Covid-19 developments and to dealing with issues such as mental health and mindfulness amongst other things:

ProMo-Cymru - Digital Resources for the Third Sector During Covid-19

ProMo-Cymru, on behalf of the Interim Youth Work Board's Digital Youth Work Advisory Group, has developed a digital information in reaction to Covid-19. It is a resource of digital tools, tips and strategies to enable the third and youth sector in Wales to work better through the use of digital.
