Coronavirus
Mental Health Response Fund – Wales
Due
to the coronavirus pandemic, demand for mental health services is increasing.
Voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations have a vital role working alongside
our NHS colleagues to support anyone who has a mental health problem. Thanks to £270,000 support from Comic Relief
and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the
Coronavirus Mental Health Response Fund - Wales has been established. Its
purpose is to help mental health VCS organisations based in Wales continue to
provide services - or provide additional support. Organisations can apply for
grants of up to £50,000 for projects lasting up to 31 March 2021, with £5,000
being the smallest grant available.
Mind
is administering the fund in partnership with the Mental Health Consortia. More
information about the members of the Mental Health Consortia is available at https://www.mind.org.uk/news-campaigns/campaigns/coronavirus-mental-health-response-fund/.
