Holiadur cenedlaethol i blant a phobl ifanc
Yn dilyn llwyddiant yr arolwg cyntaf o’i fath
yng ngwledydd Prydain y llynedd, mae Comisiynydd Plant Cymru yn lansio
ymarferiad gwrando arall heddiw, gan ofyn i blant a phobl ifanc Cymru am eu
barn a’u safbwyntiau presennol ar effaith y pandemig ar wahanol elfennau o'u
bywydau.
Gan weithio gyda Llywodraeth Cymru, Plant yng
Nghymru a Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, cafwyd bron i 24,000 o ymatebion i'r arolwg
cyntaf, a gafodd ei lansio ym mis Mai y llynedd, ac fe ddylanwadodd ei
ganlyniadau ar benderfyniadau gan lywodraeth leol a Llywodraeth Cymru. Wrth i'r
cyfyngiadau barhau, mae'r Comisiynydd yn awyddus i glywed barn uniongyrchol
plant a phobl ifanc ar themâu a materion allweddol gan gynnwys eu hiechyd a'u
lles, addysg, yr effaith ar ochr gymdeithasol eu bywydau ac anghenion grwpiau
penodol.
Bydd canlyniadau'r ymgynghoriad ‘Coronafeirws
a Fi’ ar gael i Lywodraeth Cymru cyn yr adolygiad tair wythnos yng nghanol mis
Chwefror, sy'n debygol o ystyried y camau nesaf o ran cyfyngiadau ar ysgolion,
colegau, cyfleusterau chwaraeon a hamdden a rheolau ar gyfer ymgynnull yn
gymdeithasol – mae pob un o'r rhain yn cael effaith enfawr ar fywydau plant a
phobl ifanc.
Mae'r holiadur wedi cael ei ddatblygu a'i
wirio gan blant a phobl ifanc.
Rydyn ni angen eich help er mwyn sicrhau bod
plant a phobl ifanc ar draws Cymru yn cael y cyfle i ddweud eu dweud.
Mae'n bwysig nodi bod yr holiadur yn helpu
plant i gael help os ydy elfennau ohonno yn achosi iddyn nhw i boeni neu teimlo'n
isel.
Gweler yr holiadur yma. Disgwylir iddo gymryd 15 munud i'w gwblhau
ac mae’n bosib i'w wneud ar unrhyw ddyfais wrth ddilyn y ddolen. Bydd y ddolen
ar agor am bythefnos ac yna’n cau ar y 29ain o Ionawr 2021.
Nationwide survey of children and young people
Following the success of the first survey of its kind in the UK
last year, the Children’s Commissioner for Wales is today launching another
listening exercise, asking Wales’ children and young people for their current
views and opinions of the effect of the pandemic on various aspects of their
lives.
Working with the Welsh Government, Children in Wales and Welsh
Youth Parliament, nearly 24,000 responses were received to the first survey,
which launched in May last year, the results of which have shaped
decision-making by local governments and the Welsh Government. As restrictions
continue, the Commissioner and partners are keen to hear children and young
people’s first-hand views on key themes and issues including their health and
wellbeing, education, the impact on social aspects of their lives and the needs
of specific groups.
The results of the ‘Coronavirus and Me’ consultation will be made
available to Welsh Government ahead of the 3-week review in mid-February, which
is likely to be considering next steps on restrictions on schools, colleges,
sport and leisure facilities and rules for social gatherings – all of which
have enormous impacts on children and young people’s lives.
The survey has been developed and tested with children and young
people.
We need your help to ensure that as many children as possible have
a chance to have their say.
Please note that the survey makes clear where children can seek
help if they are affected by any of the topics in the survey.
The survey is here. We'd expect it to take
children 15 minutes to complete and they can do it on any device by following
the link. Closing date is Friday, 29 January 2021.
