Mae cylch newydd o gyllid Cynhwysiant Gweithredol yn cael ei lansio i helpu mudiadau yn y frwydr yn erbyn y coronafeirws – gyda phroses ymgeisio symlach a byrrach.
Mae pandemig Covid-19 a’r camau cyfyngu symudiadau sydd wedi’u cymryd i fynd i’r afael ag ef wedi effeithio ar lawer o gyfranogwyr y Gronfa Cynhwysiant Gweithredol (AIF). Mae’r rhain wedi golygu bod yn rhaid i fudiadau addasu’r ffordd y maen nhw’n gwneud eu gweithgareddau bob dydd er mwyn cefnogi eu cyfranogwyr a’r gymuned ehangach.
Mae CGGC wedi cytuno â WEFO y bydd cylch byr, syml o gyllid AIF yn cael ei gynnal i gefnogi cynhwysiant cymdeithasol a gwella rhagolygon cyflogadwyedd. Bydd y cyllid yn cynorthwyo’r camau sydd wedi’u cymryd i liniaru’r argyfwng (nad ydynt wedi’u cyllido eisoes gan ffynonellau eraill) ac yn cefnogi gweithgareddau a fydd yn cynyddu’r adferiad pan fydd y cyfnod o argyfwng wedi dod i ben.
Bydd y gronfa’n cefnogi prosiectau chwe mis o hyd sydd â chyfanswm cost o £25,000 ar y mwyaf, gyda grantiau o 80%. Bydd ceisiadau’n cael eu gwneud drwy MAP, porth ymgeisio amlbwrpas CGGC, a’n nod yw cael prosiectau ar waith o fewn 4-6 wythnos i gyflwyno’r cais. Os nad ydych chi'n gwybod eich mewngofnodi MAP yna cysylltwch: map@wcva.cymru.
Yn ystod yr adeg hon, rydyn ni eisiau gwneud yn siŵr bod pawb yn ddiogel a bod pawb yn teimlo’u bod yn cael eu cefnogi. Mae’r rhain yn amgylchiadau eithriadol, ac rydyn ni eisiau eich sicrhau chi y bydd mesurau a thargedau priodol yn cael eu cytuno: er enghraifft, i ddechrau, byddwn dim ond yn gosod targedau ar gyfer nifer y cyfranogwyr sy’n cymryd rhan ac sy’n cyflawni ‘canlyniadau cadarnhaol’. Rydyn ni’n sylweddoli y bydd casglu tystiolaeth o gymhwysedd yn anodd o dan y cyfyngiadau symud - byddwn ni’n hyblyg ac yn eich helpu chi i gasglu’r dystiolaeth unwaith y bydd hyn yn bosibl.
Efallai y bydd rhai prosiectau’n canolbwyntio ar weithgareddau i helpu gyda gwasanaethau sy’n ymwneud â Covid-19, gan ddefnyddio cyfranogwyr i helpu i gyflawni’r rhain, e.e. helpu pobl a warchodir i gadw mewn cysylltiad â’u teuluoedd, ac felly’n ychwanegu i’w sgiliau a’u cyflogadwyedd. Gallai eraill ganolbwyntio ar wasanaethau sy’n cefnogi eu grwpiau cyfranogwyr yn uniongyrchol, e.e. drwy ddarparu cymorth digidol a thros y ffôn, gweithgareddau ar-lein ac ati.
Mae’n parhau i fod yn gyllid Ewropeaidd, ond gyda phrosesau symlach a byrrach, a phroses gymeradwyo mwy rhyngweithiol: byddwn ni’n cadw’r ffurflenni a’r amserau asesu’n fyr, a dibynnu ar siarad â chi i weithio drwy unrhyw fanylion sydd eu hangen i ategu’r gwaith hwn.
New Active Inclusion fund for COVID-19
A new round of Active Inclusion funding is being launched to help organisations in the struggle against coronavirus – with a simplified and shortened application process.
The Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown measures taken to address it have affected many AIF participants. They have meant that organisations have had to adapt the way that they carry out their day to day activities in order to support both their participants and the wider community.
WCVA has agreed with WEFO that a short, simplified round of AIF funding will be run, to support social inclusion and improved employability prospects. The funding will assist with measures taken to alleviate the crisis (that are not already funded by other sources), and support activities to build recovery after the emergency period ends.
The fund will support six-month projects with a total cost of no more than £25,000, all with grants of 80%. Applications will be via MAP, WCVA’s multi application portal, and we aim to have projects up and running within 4-6 weeks of submission. If you do not know your MAP login, then please contact map@wcva.cymru.
During this time, we want to make sure everyone stays safe, and everyone feels supported. These are exceptional circumstances, and we want to reassure you that appropriate measures and targets will be agreed: for example, in the first instance we will only be looking to set targets for numbers of participants engaged and achieving ‘positive outcomes’. We recognise that some proofs of eligibility will be hard to collect under lockdown – we will be flexible and help you to gather evidence once it is possible.
Some projects may focus on activities to help with Covid-19 related services, using participants to help deliver this, eg helping people who are shielded to keep in touch with their families, and therefore adding to their skills and employability. Others may focus on services to directly support their participant groups, eg by providing telephone and digital support, online activities, etc.
It's still European funding, but with simplified and shortened processes, and a more interactive approval process: we will keep the forms and the assessment times short, and rely on talking to you to work out any details that are needed to supplement this.
